An unusual and decorative antique toleware tea caddy. The piece emulating the shape of an 18th century Georgian tea caddy. The toleware attractively decorated with flowers. Early to mid 19th century. Overall height approximately 8.6cm, maximum width 13cm, maximum depth 6.8cm. Surface wear and losses to the decoration throughout however resulting in an attractive decorative finish. The lid is slightly smiling at the corners although this does not detract and the lid closes securely. A pretty tea caddy which displays well.
